The year is coming quickly to an end and I wanted to review some of the developments within the house for 2016.
"It's a boy's life." During the year, MY boy was able to buy his first house a few blocks from the main house in Pittsburgh and so W/we're eager to get him set up as a "householder" and no longer a renter. He and I have had that conversation about paying someone else's mortgage long enough that he's ready to make the move to the new house and becoming an "owner."
It's a fixer-upper but just the size for a "boy" and the basement is just right for some nice parties. W/we're hoping that everything will be completed by early 2017 so that W/we can have a great "open house" for him. He's been nervous about all this transition and it's rocking his world that he's spending so much money. But, MASTER has a financial plan for him that will, once the renovations are made, end up saving him money and building equity for his future. It is the future that I am most concerned with regard to the boy. Part of mastery is ensuring that those under one's charge are cared about by helping them to learn how to manage in the world successfully. He's MY boy and he's getting there.
"It's a dog's life." The dog/slave which has been in training for 18+ months, continues to develop while struggling with leaving the world and entering into slave service on a more full-time basis. The dog's history is marked by fierce independence and fear of surrendering to another because of past pain, rejection and loss from family and lovers.
Even though it is a huge "pain pig," the pain it most fears is the emotional pain of attaching to an Owner and then being rejected. Doesn't everyone feel the same when falling in and out of love? This makes surrendering to a MASTER/OWNER even more challenging for it is both tremendous and terrifying at the same time for it.
Each week of training makes it a little bit more aware, a little more accepting, and a little less fearful. The dog/slave's journey is its own and MASTER continues to welcome it, encourages it to come closer, to be less fearful, and less controlling of others and the world. What is true about a skittish dog wounded by the past is true of human dogs.....slow and steady makes it more comfortable and accepting.
Beyond the fear is liberation. Doing the next best thing, taking that next unknown step, trusting a little deeper are all part of the path of slavery. Paradoxically, in slavery is freedom for those born to be owned. Ownership is the highest form of surrender and salvation. (Consider this in view of the Christian theological principle of kenosis and it all makes sense.)
Owned slave. MY owned slave continues on its assignment outside the house and in a few weeks I'll determine what its next step in this life will be. Because it is completely owned property (24/7/365), wherever it is, it is still MY slave property. How ever it lives, it is still MY slave property. So ending this year will bring clarity about its status and service.
House Mission. Part of the mission of the house is to provide work for the properties (slaves, dogs, pigs, toilets, and objects) so that they can live their nature without switching from life within the house to the outside world. This transition becomes confusing for some and so having real estate projects where they can be employed by the Holding Company is MY continuing mission for 2017.
This year, WE've acquired two additional houses and they will be renovated in 2017. They are close to the main facility and one will provide rental income and the other will be a "caretaker's" house for the main facility. Thus, I am recruiting in 2017 for additional properties to serve in MY Pittsburgh houses and central PA location .
One promising prospective property is from Ohio and while off to a bumpy start, is likely to be taken into service and ownership within the next month or so. This property will be the first to go straight into ownership with no rights, release, or mercy. This prospective has no encumbrances (family, job, debt, etc.) and a desire to be taken without release and so it shall be. It will be MY intention to document its training and development throughout 2017.
What's coming up. So for 2016, it has been a busy year full of transition and transformation. 2017 will be even more exciting as I welcome new prospects and prospective slaves to the house for development of their true and authentic nature. Further, I plan to have this blog undated more regularly and to supply both training pics/videos as well as instructional materials for those seeking to experience the life in House of BlackLeather. If interested in learning more, contact ME here.
To everyone who views this blog, on behalf of the House of BlackLeather, W/we are wishing all happy holidays and a terrific New Year.
